Jordan Love Donates Part of His Salary to Fund Scholarships for Orphans — Because He Lost His Father Too

Growing up without a father is something no child should have to endure — and Jordan Love knows that pain all too well. The Green Bay Packers quarterback lost his father when he was just a child. “It was the first and hardest loss I’ve ever faced,” Love once shared. “But I learned how to keep moving forward — with the help of my mom and the game of football.”

Now, as the face of the Packers and a rising star in the NFL, Jordan Love is using his platform to support children who share a similar story. He’s donating part of his salary to fund scholarships for orphans, through a foundation he started called Hands of 10ve Foundation.

“Not everyone starts life on equal footing,” Love said during the scholarship program’s announcement. “If I can help just one kid feel like they’re not alone — that’s a bigger win than any game.”

The program, called the 10ve Legacy Scholarship, will provide financial aid to orphaned children who wish to pursue higher education or participate in school athletics. More than just money, the initiative sends a powerful message: “I’ve been where you are — and if I could make it, so can you.”

Jordan Love has already earned respect on the field for his poise and leadership, but it’s moments like these that show he’s much more than just a football player — he’s a role model the entire Packers community can be proud of.
