Eagles Locker Room Buzzes After Kelee Ringo Reveals Rengoku Tattoo – ‘I fight for my teammates, just like Rengoku did
The Philadelphia Eagles are no strangers to tough, driven personalities – but no one expected Kelee Ringo, the rising young cornerback, to bring anime into the spotlight.
During a recent closed-door training session, Ringo removed his gloves after drills – revealing a bold tattoo of Rengoku Kyojuro, the legendary Flame Hashira from Demon Slayer, inked right on the back of his hand. The tattoo captured Rengoku's fierce gaze and blood-stained face, instantly catching attention throughout the facility.

But this wasn’t just a flashy design – it was a symbol of purpose.
“I got Rengoku inked on my hand to remind myself – you fight to the very end, even when no one believes in you,” Ringo explained. “He taught me that. I carry that fire every day I step on the field.”
Drafted in the 4th round in 2023, Ringo had been overlooked due to recurring injuries during his time at Georgia. But he’s now proving his doubters wrong, making waves at training camp and positioning himself as a serious contender for a starting role.
And beyond the speed, the footwork, and the athleticism – there’s now a deeper energy burning in him.
“Here in Philly – we’re a unit. Just like the Hashira, each of us has a role, a duty. I’m not backing down, even if I have to stand alone.”
Eagles fans quickly caught wind of the moment – some even switching their profile pictures to Ringo as the “Flame Hashira of Philly.”
A coach reportedly whispered:
“That ink isn’t just a tattoo – it’s a window into his soul. The fire’s real in that kid.”
